System components:
Connect the transducer interface unit to the main unit using the 8 pin mini DIN cable.
Connect the nasal mask to the transducer interface channel 3 flow transducer using clear tubing. The nasal mask has two outlets on either side. One MUST always be plugged using the white cap. The other is used to connect to the flow transducer.
Connect the channel extension unit to the main unit, using the 15 pin cable. (Note: This option is not available for x516 models).
Connect the main unit to a USB port of the host using USB cable.
Note: Do not make this connection prior to software installation. Failure to do this may prevent the host from recognizing the system.
Connect the power cable to the back of the main unit and plug to power outlet. This unit is capable of accepting power sources from 110-220VAC.
The battery backup is internal to the main unit and charges constantly while connecting to power source. Please charge the batteries for full 15 hours before battery operation usage.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PCquirer & Macquirer software are protected software that will only work with the external hardware and/or the protection dongle. If your setup requires constant connection to the external hardware, then the dongle is not required. However, if you wish to use the software independently of the hardware, then the dongle is required.
DO NOT plug in the dongle prior to software installation and rebooting your host. Failure to do this may prevent your host form recognizing the dongle presence.
Place the CD in the CD drive and follow the automatic installation and reboot.
Place the dongle at the any available USB ports.
