Label

Virtually unlimited number of  labels with 255 characters maximum can be entered in the main display only. Labels cannot be entered into any other windows. Upon entering a new label in the main window, all the rest of the views are updated to reflect the new changes. To add/edit labels you must be in label mode. This is done by Labels->Enter Label Mode menu. Once you are in this mode all the mouse clicks are routed to the label engine. The labels are place anywhere on the main window and can be dragged to any location. Labels for each channel stays only in that channel area and cannot be moved outside it. When placing a label you will be presented with a label dialog box with all the related information, such as labels text, font, justification and whether you wish to have a reference line drawn.

A mouse click on a label will bring up the label entry dialog with the label in it, available for editing. To delete a label, click on it and delete the text in the label filed.

Font button will present the standard font selector. Any font installed in your system can used. The labels can different fonts, sizes and colors.

The justification present the relative label location to its time.

Add line will draw a reference line at the label time.

View labels

To view all the labels entered, use Labels->View Labels menu. You will be presented with a spread sheet style view with all the labels, time and the signal name for that label. The labels can be sorted according to the signal name, text, or time. To sort, click on the column header. Any additional labels will be appended to this table. No changes can be made to this table.
