FFT/LPC
The calculation is performed from the location of the marker forward. It is not centered around the marker.
The FFT/LPC is displayed onto a fully resizable window. The location and size of the window is stored for future operations. Every application of this command will start a new window. Therefore, care must be taken as not to have too many FFT windows open at the same time.
The average FFT/LPC will perform the FFT/LPC on every frame and steps over according to the setting in the options. Then averages the frames and displays the results.
The default setting for the FFT is 256 points and depending on your sampling rate the associated filter width is displayed next to the points selected in the Option FFT/LPC.
LPC number of coefficient is 14, which is the optimum for most applications.
The dynamic range is set to the maximum for the data and cannot be altered.
The default frequency range is set to 1/2 the sampling rate and can be adjusted.
The FFT/LPC display can be saved as a BMP file for entering into your graphical program for further processing.
Please refer to the FFT/LPC Option dialog for setting the parameters.
